ABOUT MARCIN KLYSEWICZ

At the moment I live in Kent, UK. I moved here after spending three years in Dorset, UK. It’s where my passion for the macrophotography started. It motivates me to explore areas around the place where I live. In pursuit of extraordinary nature images I have spent hundreds of hours in the wild.

I first started playing with cameras while I was in high school. Using my fathers old Zenith camera gave me the idea of how much fun photography gives you. This was also the time when I did some work in the dark room working on my black and white photos.
Nature is amazing and can surprise you in many ways. One goal of my photography is to share with others these moments where you think that time could stop. Morning sun light, soft and warm, plus colourful butterfly wings are one of the best views that can be found almost everywhere. Who has time these days to get up so early and look for it... I’ll be glad if my photography inspires people to appriciate wilderness all around us.

ABOUT MARCIN’S CAMERA EQUIPMENT

I’m using Canon EOS 5D Mark II and EOS 40D DSLR cameras with Canon 100mm F2.8 macro lens. For extra close-ups I use Raynox DCR-250 macro lens. My bag is full of other small items like scissor, home made diffuser, Hoya close up lenses and a foam matress. I’m prepared to do what it takes to get that photo I need. At the moment I’m also using my two other lenses, Canon 50mm F1.4 and Canon 70-200 F4 USM, for some portrait, landscape and wildlife photos.
